 Mountain View Community Mourns Loss of Board President

A moment of silence was scheduled during the morning announcements on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 to recognize the passing of Mr. James W. Zick.

A private funeral was scheduled for Wednesday, May 16th for James W. Zick, a long term member of the Mountain View School District’s Board of Education. Mr. Zick was Board president for the past six years and was dedicated to providing for the educational needs of the students of the Mountain View school community. He was first appointed to the Board of Education on August 8, 1983 and served continuously representing the residents of Harford Township and Lenox Township. A graduate of Mountain View High School, Class of 1967, James W. Zick served for nearly twenty-nine years on the Mountain View School Board ----- always with diligence, determination, and dedication. We will now have a moment of silence. May his memory be eternal.

Honoring Varsity and Junior Varsity Players/Managers

May 18th, 2012

Reservations must be made by Friday, May 11th.

Dinner will be at 5:00 pm in the cafeteria.

Awards presentation to follow in the auditorium.

Students will be issued a reservation paper to purchase tickets during the week of April 30th during lunches. Please make sure to return the paper with your payment.Reservation sheets and payments should be submitted to the High School Main Office. Checks should be made out to "Mountain View Athletic Fund". Mountain View Varsity/Junior Varsity athletes will eat free.

Cost:

Adults: $15.00

Non-JV/V Students: $10.00

(Junior High certificates will be presented during an assembly before the end of the year during a school day.)
